After a recent renovation to this Frederick City residence the clients decided it was time to make some similar improvements to their yard. The new addition was located at the back of the home and offered unobstructed views and direct access into their rear yard. What the clients now desired was a landscape design to transform their rear yard from its current condition into a garden environment more compelling to venture into. The landscape plan featured a raised terrace located immediately outside the recent addition offering the homeowners an enticing location to sit and enjoy filtered sunlight through the canopy of their mature shade trees. Descending stone steps spill out into the lawn beckoning individuals to wander further out into the garden. Additional areas of interest lie along both side yards further unifying the home and rear yard connection.
